Public consultation meetings
Live or work in Greater Manchester? This is your chance to talk to Tony!
As part of the Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable’s public contract, a public meeting will be held in each local authority of Greater Manchester each year. At this meeting the performance of Greater Manchester Police will be scrutinised and the public consulted on priorities.
The next public meetings in Greater Manchester is being held at Greater Manchester Police headquarters on 19 November 2013.
The public meetings are a chance for you to:
- Question Tony on police and crime issues
- Find out how Greater Manchester Police is performing overall and in your area
- Meet senior officers from GMP
The public meetings are being held on the following dates (information will be updated when dates/venues have been finalised):
30 January 2013, 2.30pm: The Ballroom, Flixton House, Flixton Road, M41 5GJ
26 February, 2.30pm: Salford Suite, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA
20 March, 4.00pm: Council Chamber, Wigan Town Hall, Library Street, Wigan, WN1 1YN
30 April, 4.00pm: Lancaster Suite, Bolton Town Hall, Bolton, BL1 1RU
28 May, 6.30pm: Elizabethan Suite, Bury Town Hall, Bury, BL9 0SW
18 June, 6.30pm: Reception Room, Rochdale Town Hall, Rochdale, OL16 1AQ
2 July, 6.30pm: Council Chambers, Oldham Civic Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1UT
30 September, 6.30pm: Lesser Hall, Dukinfield Town Hall, King Street, Dukinfield, Tameside, SK16 4LA
21 October, 3.30pm: Council Chambers, Stockport Town Hall, Edward Street, Stockport, SK1 3XE
19 November, 2.30pm: Greater Manchester Police Headquarters, Central Park, Northampton Road (off Oldham Road), Manchester, M40 5BP
