Live or work in Greater Manchester? This is your chance to quiz your new Police and Crime Commissioner!
As part of the Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable’s public contract, a public meeting will be held in each local authority of Greater Manchester each year. At this meeting the performance of Greater Manchester Police will be scrutinised and the public consulted on priorities.
The first of 10 public meetings in Greater Manchester is being held in Trafford on Wednesday 30 January 2013, 2.30 – 5.00pm at The Ballroom, Flixton House, Flixton Road, M41 5GJ.
The public meetings are a chance for you to:
- Question the Commissioner on police and crime issues
- Find out how Greater Manchester Police is performing overall and in your area
- Have your say on the first police and crime plan and how the budget in 2013/14 is spent
- Meet senior officers from GMP
To register your interest in attending this meeting or if you have any specific requirements such as an interpreter or signer, please let us know using the form on our public meetings page.
If you can’t attend this meeting, the next one is being held in Salford on 26 February, 2.30 – 5.00pm at the Salford Civic Centre.
We’ll also be covering the Trafford meeting LIVE on the website. You can either submit a question here, or on twitter using the hashtag #talktotony.
For more information on other meeting dates and to register an interest in attending one of the public meetings, please go to our public meetings page.
