Spending over £100
Police and Crime Commissioners are required to publish all spending over £500. However, as part of his commitment to transparency, Tony publishes all spending his office incurs over £100. This information is published on this page and is updated monthly.
When Tony’s office buys goods and services we always seek best value for money in accordance with our financial regulations, and, where possible, use local suppliers from within Greater Manchester to ensure we are contributing to the local economy. Sometimes spending which was incurred towards the end of the month will appear on the next month’s spending summary. The expenditure listed has been made in accordance with the Police and Crime Commissioner Financial Regulations and Standing Orders in relation to contracts to ensure that value for money has been obtained.
Tony is expected to publish contract information which he, or the chief constable, is a party to.
The Police and Crime Commissioner’s Financial Regulations and Standing Orders stipulate that contracts will only go out to tender where the estimated value of the contract exceeds £50,000.
Information about the Police and Crime Commissioner and the Chief Constable’s contracts over £50,000 is available at the www.bluelight.gov.uk website. Search for Greater Manchester Police contracts for details of all contracts and invitations to tender for contracts with an estimated value exceeding £50,000.
Contracts with a value of less than £50,000 are not published on Bluelight. Instead, this data will be published within the monthly spending data reports on this web page or on the transparency page of the Greater Manchester Police website. The expenditure listed has been made in accordance with the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Financial Regulations and Standing Orders in relation to contracts to ensure that value for money has been obtained.
Information about contracts specific to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner will be published on this page.
