Wiganers turn out to talk to Tony

Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd speaks at the Greater Manchester Police public meeting, at the Council Chambers at Wigan Town Hall.

Hundreds of local people turned out to quiz the Commissioner at his latest public meeting in Wigan.

The impact of budget cuts and welfare reforms on frontline policing, changes to neighbourhood policing teams and hate crime were just some of the issues raised at the meeting in Wigan Town Hall on Wednesday 20 March.

Tony was joined by Chief Constable Sir Peter Fahy and Wigan Divisional Commander Chief Superintendent Shaun Donnellan.

We tweeted live from the meeting so if you couldn’t make it you can replay the questions and answers here.
