Stop and search app

The stop and search app has been developed by Greater Manchester Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd. His job is to represent the people of Greater Manchester, he is not part of Greater Manchester Police and he is independent of them.

Elected by the public, Tony has a responsibility to hold the police to account and make sure that they are doing things properly.

With this stop and search app, you can now record your experiences after you have been stopped and searched, and submit them to Tony’s office. This will help him build a picture of how stop and searches are being carried out in the Greater Manchester area. He can then use this information to challenge GMP on any issues that arise.
